my role
As the sole Visual Designer, I was responsible for the visual identity and rebranding of Maslow for People. Maslow is a tech start-up in the digital health sphere. Maslow is a mobile platform that makes it easy for people with complex care needs to manage their care and rehab at home.
During my time working on Maslow, I collaborated closely with the CEO, as well as developers in the tech team to bring my creations to life.

rebranding
The vision of Maslow is ‘human-first’, ‘approachable’, ‘young’, ‘fun & engaging’ and ‘cool & trendy’. Maslow wanted to stray away from being seen as ‘clinical’, ‘too serious’ and ‘boring’. I rebranded Maslow accordingly, establishing a visual language through creating design style guides which included primary & secondary colour palettes, typography & its hierarchy, imagery & iconography, shapes & motifs and more. Furthermore, I also refreshed the Maslow logo, redesigning the logo and all its variations, as well as creating alternate logos to be used across different platforms.
digital design
I established the visual language of Maslow, and implemented it through digital design across various platforms: including the Maslow website and app, eDMs, marketing and social media content.
Collaborating closely with the tech team, I created the user journey and interface for the Maslow app. I provided oversight for the build and testing.
product guides & videos
To help the audience better understand Maslow, I created a series of informative product guides and videos, segmented by the main user groups. These materials detail why Maslow was created and how it can be used to improve care needs, covering any questions the user is likely to have. For easy access, these assets are distributed digitally.
